Acne Studios Camel Cardigan

This might be the last post I do before heading to Japan for my Christmas holiday. I have been looking forward to spending the upcoming half month in Japan for a long time and it is almost there. The weather finally got better here in China, so I got a chance to do a very quick shoot outside. I am thinking about opening a youtube channel or just do Vlog to share some of my daily life, because sometimes, I feel that I keep my personal life and my social media so separate and it might be a time to move one step forward. Let me know what you think, and what kind of vlog you want to see on Instagram/just simply e-mail me. I am more than happy to chat.

I am sharing my love for the camel cardigan from Acne Studio, because this is just perfect for a sunny winter. Jeans and cashmere jumper are my comfort zone during winter, so I am also bringing this to a daily look without extra touching. xx

Wanderlust in an ancient town

My friend came to visit me in China last week!!! I had so much for the last two weeks. Attended one of the patisserie training classes in Shanghai last week, and one is coming in the following week. Then, I will be finishing the updated course. Also, my friend came to visit me in China, so we took some pictures along our journey. I have been grateful for seeing the life of local people in China every time I come back and visit. I was born here and lived here until 16 when I moved to Australia, but I do come back every year for my holiday. It is a very odd thing that deep fried rice cake with read bean custard is one of the most traditional area in my hometown, but I hated it since young. My friend is obsessed with anything rice cake, so I tried it with her last week and it was eventually not that bad, not at all!! Here are some pictures I picked for you from our wanderlust and hope you like it.xx

Your favourite plaid dress for this summer

Long time no see lovelies. I have been denial the post for the last two weeks. This set of pictures were done before I started my semester exam. Though Brisbane has taken the summer in, it sometimes feel very chill even the sun is so strong. I always like to bring a denim jacket with me to keep myself be ready for the change of the weather. I do not know what you do, but when I purchase a new clothes, I just leave it for a long time in my wardrobe and pick it later in a random day. This yellow plaid dress from Luck & troubles is a good example of the kind of typical shopping from one of those days. I just wanted it but did not have an idea on how to style it. Hope you like this very casual look.xx

Moga Paddington, You Latest Brisbane Dining Guide

(Unagi Nigiri)

(Moga Roll)

(Wagyu Beef)

I don't know about you, but I am sick of ordering a pizza from the closest fast food delivery, sitting in my couch at 9 o'clock, and regret of taking so much junk food and feeling the high calorie intake is killing me inside and out. Now, we have another choice: a healthy, yummy choice with a sense of exotic culture, which I cannot refuse. I have to thank my friend Catherine, who brought me to Moga Paddington this weekend for a night out. We had not seen each other for a very long time, and this place is just perfect for us to chat and have some light meal. Surprised to me, it opens until very late (around 10 p.m), which means if you want to grab you and your bestie some sake or Japanese dessert on a boring night. That is totally perfect as well. No need to even mention the nice interior and half-open dining atmosphere it offers, food here will not disappoint you just as how it looks inside and out. You might been seeing me if you dine here some time, because I just love how this restaurant & bar delivers its concept. I am truely feeling that I would be a frequent visitor, and please just come by and say hello if you see me anytime. I don't mind grab a sake and chat about fashion & travel, at all! Last but not least, it locates just near the Rosalie village and on-street parking is so convenient.(I just do not visit some place with parking is a tough work for me)

If you keen for a nice dinner or just casual catch up here, click here for their menu and contact details.

Sugar Republic Brisbane

If you missed it in Melbourne, here is your go this time. The sugar republic is now held in Valley Metro in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. With one single entry, you would receive heaps of sugar boom, plus an ice-cream treat. Or I have to mention, it is eventually all about fun. I haven't jumped into a pool since I was five years old. This exhibition literally brought out the inner kid of mine, told myself to enjoy without thinking like an adult. It will end very soon in Brisbane and move yourself to get your ticket from: https://www.sugarrepublic.com.au/tickets/

Japan Diary Part 3: Tokyo+ Mt. Fuji

Tokyo is truly a non-stop city. Standing in the middle of the city, my first impression towards Tokyo was like the morning after a whole night party. There was a moment that the life was filled with people, and next moment I felt so alone even I was surrounded. No bad, or good. Just acceptance. The neon lights are all on, the night gone dark. Now it was the time I bury myself in the joy of the current moment and think about nothing else. This is the city, and we all need to learn from both side of it. Whether it is the serenity from its ancient history, or the craziness of night parties, embrace it and enjoy it.

Dine at Beige Alain Ducasse (click here for more information) is one of the kind experience we love about. Aileen and I, we have been travelling around for fine dining, just to let the food pop amazingness on our tongue. Couple days ago when we talked about Beige Alain Ducasse, the first thing came into the talk was their butter for bread. Most people would maybe remember a main dish or dessert from their dining experiences, but the simplest thing in our life really impress us the most. (I guess that this the reason why we became friends)

Mt Fuji:

Mt Fuji can never be forgotten. Ever once we opened a random travel magazine or just type "Japan" in our search engine, Mt Fuji would certainly been ranked in the very top list of it. When talking about this country, we talk about it. A day tour to Mt Fuji was not a bad choice. How lucky we were? The day we went was a sunny day and it revealed the whole face of itself to us.

And btw, big news!! I am heading to Japan again for Christmas holiday (will be there from 23-30 December), so please send me e-mail/ DM me on Instagram if you would like to catch up there. xx
