Finally I could share this eye test experience with you on #WanderlustOfEmily!!I have been holding this for a long time and tried my best to keep it low profile until I got the content totally ready.
In the very end of December 2019, I landed a collaboration with one of my favourite brands, Oscar Wylee, to ride an eye test experience with them. For me, Oscar Wylee is not just a store that could fix my glasses problems but a fashion brand, which makes glasses not nerdy anymore. I have been short sighted since Grade 6 and wearing glasses for more than a decade. For some reasons, I used to prefer contact lens because they are more FASHION to me (because we all have a stereotyping that glasses have a more nerdy and stiff impression).
I don't feel it anymore with Oscar Wylee.
Some point to remember when you get an eye test:
- Do not forget to bring your medicare card/medicare insurance card. They do bulk bill so you do not have to pay the eye test
- Get someone with you if you are going to do a pupil test because you are advised not to drive post test (check with your local store)
- Bring some points about your eye health even if your optometrist does not ask. I do have eye dryness and sensitive to light sometimes. So I was advised to do further test to see if I am wearing appropriate contact lens.
- Do not rush when you picking your glasses because there are just so many choices. Try to find the one suits your face shape best. For example, I see myself have a round face shape. So I'd always like to pick glasses that have a sharp/large angle at the top to balance the lower part of my face.
- When you choose a pair of glasses, try to pull your hair up when you try it on. Sometimes, the hairstyle we currently have reshapes our face shape. But in reality, we are not going to just wear one hairstyle, so pull the hair away from your face gives a more objective view of how it will matches your face shape.
- You get 2 pairs of glasses for just $199, so enjoy the fashion journey with Oscar Wylee for an affordable price! This is my last advice!
Hope you all have a more clear vision in 2020.

Cannot believe it is 2020 already and 2019 would not be the same without all your support.
This year has been a little bit different than all the others. One of the most wonderful things I did was that I stepped out of my comfort zone in 2019 by KEEP TRYING.
I started to say YES to opportunities that came to me, and stopped rejecting by considering myself not capable of doing so. The lesson I learned is that we could all learn by doing. Sometimes we just need to take it first and find a way to accomplish the task, because for me, I will never be ready if I am "on they way to be ready". The moment I said YES, I would be totally ready.
So in 2020, I would try my best to say YES to collaborations and work opportunities, but still take it all transparent to you guys. I am also as open as always to share my experience no matter it's in sour or sweetness.
The start of 2020 is also a bit different to previous years. I spent all the previous NYE overseas, but this year, I decide to stay in Australia and celebrate it by the river with my friends. We tried the newly opened Massimo Restaurant on Eagle Street and the view was marvellous! It had such a straight-forward angle towards the river fireworks and the half-open interior arrangements makes us feel closer to the nature environment and the breeze from river. The only drawback on it's NYE dinner menu is a set ones so there was not a lot of choice.(but we were still lucky to get a table though! and the food was not bad).
Hope you all had a wonderful NYE celebration and best to 2020

As it comes to the end of 2019, I started to list a few things I achieved this year and my to-do list for the following year.
But all of those things I wrote down, I care about my health most. Like many other girls living their twenties, I struggle a lot with my weight, my sleeping quality, the bloating issue, and the eating habits.
I go to the gym 5 days a week with non-stop for the last few year, and it definitely sees its own result. The key is persistency! But sometimes when I travel, I need just some extra help to stay energetic, be ready to photo shot. Most importantly, be ready to tasks and work.
There are some of daily intakes I found very effective to support my mechanism. I am not a nutritionist myself, but my advice from my personal experience with nutritionist is that: eat healthy and change the bad lifestyle first, on the basis of that, take only what you need but not overtake the supplements. They can never play the role as important as food itself.
1. The Swisse Women's Ultivite multi-vitamin
I found myself cannot get enough variety of vegetable when I am busy/ travelling, this supplements whatever I need for my daily vitamin.
2. Goli Apple Cider Vinegar Gummy
I mean, sometimes I need something healthy, and taste yummy! As it said, taste the apple, not the vinegar. It truely just brings the aroma of apple and taste exactly like that. If it does not clarify itself contains vinegar, I cannot even taste it.
Some of the function the gummy labels as weigh loss, detoxify, and much more!
And as you may known already, I try to switch my food to as much organic as I could. This is just something in my alley.
100% organic, vegan-friendly, gluten-free they contain no preservatives, chemicals, or artificial ingredients
3. Fibre supplement from DHC (click here)
This is a wonderful little pack I found when I travelled to Japan. The variety of fibre it contains could help me to digest more effectively on those days I do not take enough vegetables. What have to be noted is that even though the multi-vitamin I took from Swisse and the fibre pill are all made from vege, that one is helping with my daily vitamin intake and this is for fibre, they are two different things, totally.
Most importantly, remember: have enough sleeping every night, stay hydrated, do some exercise. Hope you all stay healthy in 2020. xx
It's holiday season again.
I have this holiday outfit ready, I have my makeup ready, but wait......I haven't had my destination ready! Have nowhere to go? Why don't we just spend a relaxed afternoon at the backyard and enjoy ourselves with food and wine? (because my backyard is finally getting together!!)
I love a bright and warm summer with wine and fruit. Ever since I found I am lactose intolerant, my life is getting a bit hard with cheese, so fruit becomes my bestie. This dress from Minkpink is one of those dress I would wear as many times as I could. From the beach time to backyard party, I would.
I hope you all have the holiday outfit ready and let me know what do you think of this one.

Hi hi!! I cannot express how excited I am now to get back to this little space!
I have been living my life crazy since the beginning of October and haven't got chances to update myself here. Thank you for being patient with me like always and today's look is casual and I kinda walked out of my comfort zone this time.
I had a big problem and used to be quiet shame of my boobs, which became the reason I did not wear a lot of clothes that highlighted them . Simply because I think the size is too big as an Asian girl. But it made nonsense to feel in that way. I recently saw a post (click here to check her amazing content)from @carbsmakeitokay and my blogger friend made me become more confident of showing the style that I love and to be who I really am.
The one piece dress is from Glassons. The details of the sleeves and in chest area makes it a pop, even thought it is a pure white dress. I matched it with my old Mulberry mini bag in pink as usual, to get a beige platte. Btw, this girls walks in sneakers to make herself comfy, and so could you.

I think I have done a lot of looks with white tops, but never for an open back top until now?
This open back knit caught my eyes on the gram and I have been searching it for so long. I could not find it in one of the glassons stores close to me, so I finally got it from another. I just cannot give it up, could I?
You know my personal style is always casual but to put something really ME. Neutral colours are what casual means to me. But detailing and comfy are what I have been pursuing. The Khaki pants I got from Zara matches well with the white top. Not to mention the boots are from my favourite brand Tony Bianco.
Wherever you go, wear something that speaks for you and make you comfortable. It tells who you are before you even speak.
This whole outfit was done in wellington point (at the jetty). Just because so many of you asked on Instagram so I decide to give some information in this post. This is one of my getaway location when I feel really stressful or even very depressing. I have this emotional resolution that once I come by the ocean side and sit for some time, everything negative would gone. They also have a cafe just by the cornor you could sit and relax. You could try my resolution if something ever bothers. It might help!

I've been owning this skirt for alomost 5 years and I am still in love with it. My value and belief with clothing is that they should not just been worn once and quality is the key. Please do not let trend own you, you should own a style. For me, I like to wear skirt for both summer and winter. With limited budget, I encourage girls to spend money on basic piece with higher quality and fine detailing. This skirt I got from The Fifth Label 5 years ago is still on duty. It goes well with either a cashmere top during autumn/winter, or a crop top in summer. I'd also like to layer a crop tank inside a cashmere top during spring season, so I could pull the cashmere when it's a bit chill and take it off during the heat hours in the afternoon.
Would you like to copy this look?xx
